Media Release
- I (the owner of the media uploaded to the shared link) grant permission to the Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport (PCS), its employees and agents, to take and use the media for the Earth Our Home: Earth Day Poetry Slam Contest. Media includes any type of recordings, including photographs, digital images and video recordings. PCS will not materially alter the original media. I grant permission to PCS to use the media in any manner within the Earth Our Home: Earth Day Poetry Slam Contest without notifying me. I also grant permission to PCS to publish the media on official social media channels for the Royal Saskatchewan Museum or the Government of Saskatchewan, without notifying me, for the purposes of promoting the Earth Our Home: Earth Day Poetry Slam Contest. I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished media or any printed or electronic matter that may be used with them.
- I retain ownership of the orginal media uploaded and all rights related to them.
- I release PCS and its employees and agents, including any firm authorized to publish and/or distribute a finished product containing the media, from any claims, damages or liability which I may ever have in connection with the taking or use of the media or printed material used with the media.
- I understand that there will be no financial or other remuneration for recording me, either for initial or subsequent transmission or playback.
Consent
- I hereby declare that all subject(s) in the media have provided their consent to for the subject’s image to be recorded and published for the Earth Our Home: Earth Day Poetry Slam Contest. I hereby declare that, for any subject(s) in the media who are under the age of 18 years, a parent or guardian has given consent for a subject’s image to be recorded and published for the Earth Our Home: Earth Day Poetry Slam Contest.
- I understand that it is very important to ensure all subject(s) in the media have provided their consent to be recorded and published and that any failure to obtain consent will be my responsibility. I understand PCS relies on me to ensure all subject(s) in the media have provided consent for their image to be recorded and published and PCS will not accept any responsibility for claims of media being recorded or published without a subject’s consent. I understand that if PCS learns that any subject has not consented to their recording and publishing of the media, the media will be immediately removed from the exhibit the Earth Our Home: Earth Day Poetry Slam Contest and PCS may take any steps required or permitted in law.
- I am at least 18 years of age and competent to agree to this release. If I am under the age of 18 years, a parent or guardian has reviewed the terms and conditions and that parent or guardian agrees to the terms of this release on my behalf.

Transmitting information over the internet is not completely secure and we do not guarantee the security of your data. Any data you transmit is at your own risk.
- Information we collect is maintained in a secure environment and we have procedures and security features in place to keep your data as secure as possible once received.
- We won't make your information public or share your information with any other organizations for marketing, market research or commercial purposes. Your media will only be used for the purposes of the Earth Our Home: Earth Day Poetry Slam Contest.
