BOOK a Teacher-Supervised Visit

Lead your own group without a Museum educator. The following guidelines will help you plan your visit:

  1. Our staff will greet and organize your group upon arrival.
  2. Then you are free to visit the Museum at your own pace. We ask that students remain under supervision.
  3. We recommend splitting into smaller groups, each with a chaperone, or setting boundaries (i.e. everyone visits upper floor before moving to lower floor).
  4. No food or drink (including water bottles) in the galleries. Please inform chaperones.
  5. A class set of clipboards is available at the front desk on a first-come, first-served basis.
  6. There are worksheets to support your visit available below. ONLY PENCILS are permitted in the galleries -- please no pen or marker.
  7. Have a question when you return to class?  Email us at Education Programs or contact one of our research scientists with our Ask a Museum form.

The Royal Saskatchewan Museum and T.rex Discovery Centre are situated on Treaty 4 territory, the ancestral and traditional territory of the nêhiyawak, Anihšināpēk, Dakota, Lakota, and Nakoda, and the homeland of the Métis/Michif Nation. We respect and honour the Treaties that were made on all territories, we acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and we are committed to moving forward in partnership with Indigenous Nations in the spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.
