Are you seeking to join a progressive volunteer organization where you can make a tangible difference in the accessibility and evolution of our Museum community?

Friends of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum now seeking new Board Members and Committee Volunteers and welcomes all interested applicants, in particular Indigenous application, and those with connections to other diverse communities. We are seeking candidates with legal, financial/accounting and fundraising skills. Previous board experience and connections to Saskatchewan’s business community are considered an asset. Submit your cover letter and resume in the form below and detail your career and volunteer paths while highlighting your interest in the Royal Saskatchewan Museum.

Successful candidates can expect to attend up to 8 board meetings throughout the year and are expected to actively participate in board activities each month including fundraising or museum community engagement initiatives. In addition, Members are expected to attend a majority of events hosted or directly supported by the Friends of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, which total approximately 10 per year. Board members are required to purchase an annual membership to the Friends of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, which starts at $35 and are currently expected to attend our annual fundraising event for which tickets are currently $75.

Our Board offers a diverse, supportive environment to showcase your skills and a proven record of promoting the initiatives of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum in Regina, the Province and beyond.  Application deadline is Wednesday, May 7, 2025.
