WHOOO Summer Activities

This summer we are going "owl-in" on owls! There are 16 species of owls in Canada, and 14 of them are found in Saskatchewan. Check out the activities and events we have lined up in July and August to celebrate owlmazing owls.

July 4: Hoot Into Summer!

We are kicking off a summer of owls with an owl celebration from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be guests, freebies and more, including meeting a live owl from the Saskatchewan Burrowing Owl Interpretation Centre.

Daily: July 4 to August 31

  • NEW Owls of Saskatchewan Exhibit – featuring all 14 owls found in Saskatchewan
  • Trivia slideshow in the Auditorium
  • Scavenger Hunt – new one every two weeks
  • Stamp Station – make your own owl postcard
  • Owl Prowl Discovery Carts – see owl feathers, bones and specimens up close
