T. rex Discovery Centre

The T.rex Discovery Centre in the Town of Eastend opens for a new summer season. We are really excited for the new season and want you to join us for donuts, coffee, tea and juice.The 2026 season starts with new exhibits PLUS:

  • See how fossils are prepared by our Gallery Interpreters then try your hand at discovering fossils in the Paleo Lab Experience and outdoor dig pits
  • Watch two films daily in the Discovery Theatre: Scotty's discovery unfold in the documentary "Dinosaur Hunters" and the critically acclaimed film T.REX.
  • Explore the scenic natural trail along the Frenchman River Valley
  • Go on a self-guided tour featuring our favourites, Scotty the T. rex, Thor the Brontothere and Omācīw the Tylosaurus
  • Grab new free exclusive stickers to commemorate your visit
  • Check out the Discovery Shop gift store for more exclusive souvenirs
