Royal Saskatchewan Museum
(Doors open 15min before event start)

Ever stop near a wetland in southern Saskatchewan and hear so many birds you can’t keep them straight!? Wetlands are some of the most biodiverse areas on the prairies with lots of birds that call these areas home. In this class, Curator of Vertebrate Zoology, Dr. Ryan Fisher, will give you some tips and tricks for identifying wetland birds by the sounds they make.

Part of Regina Public Library's Gardening and Nature programming series. RPL has partnered with Birds Canada to bring you birding backpacks! Bird watching is a fun, year-round pastime that you can do on your own, or with family and friends. Regina offers great natural habitats; start exploring today with one of our birding backpacks.
