From Dead Things to Urban Wildlife

Monday, October 18, 2021, 7:30pm - 9:30pm

We're partnering with Nature Regina to bring you a behind-the-scenes tour of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum's vertebrate zoology collection. The public generally only sees a fraction of what goes on at a museum and most interactions with museum staff happen over at our main exhibits building. But, in addition to increasing the public appreciation of the animals and plants that call Saskatchewan home, the job of curators at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum is to further our scientific understanding of Saskatchewan’s natural heritage. Come join Dr. Ryan Fisher for a virtual tour of what goes on at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum biology department and some of the research projects he is involved with to understand wildlife in our province.

This meeting will be held in person at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum auditorium and online. To join us online, register for the streaming link.
