Jurassic Park: Audience Adventure

Royal Saskatchewan Museum
Friday, November 20, 2026, 6:45pm - 10:30pm

Props, audience callbacks, and prehistoric surprises!

Dinosaur lovers grow up but never lose their passion! Join us for an evening at the Museum featuring an interactive screening of the original Jurassic Park created with grown-up fans in mind. The audience will become part of the movie with call-and-response cues, themed props, playful science corrections and a few surprises along the way.

Dress as your favourite Jurassic Park character, come ready to make some noise and experience the film in a whole new way. If you prefer a quiet film screening—or are looking for an event for young children—this is not the adventure for you. While we’ll ask the audience to keep it clean, parents, be aware.

6:45 p.m. // Museum doors open and the pre-show adventure begins. Explore the museum galleries, snap a selfie with Scotty the T. rex, meet Royal Saskatchewan Museum palaeontologist and amber-inclusion expert Dr. Ryan McKellar, and create your own insect-in-amber keepsake.

7:45 p.m. // Auditorium doors open. Seating is general admission.

8:00 p.m. // Show begins! Hold onto your butts! Pick up your props, follow the cues and get ready to call out, react and play along as Jurassic Park unfolds on the big screen. The full experience runs approximately 2.5 hours.

Information:

A bag of popcorn and a selection of soft drinks and bottled water are included with admission at no extra cost. Accessible seating is available. Please contact the Royal Saskatchewan Museum before the event so we can help arrange seating that meets your needs. info@royalsaskmuseum.ca
