When we think of bees, we normally have visions of large, hairy insects which carry pollen on their legs. However, many bees, such as this yellow-faced bee, look very much like wasps (bees are in fact vegetarian wasps). Also unlike most bees, female yellow-faced bees carry pollen inside their bodies, so do not have specialized areas on their body for carrying pollen.
