Come along with us in the lead-up to #GivingTuesday as we feature a new “Friend” of the Museum every week until then! This week’s #FriendFriday features Donna Woloshyn.
Donna has been active with the Friends of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum for over 10 years, and feels like it was a great fit for her interests and volunteer time. “I liked the idea of belonging to a community organization that supported the Royal Saskatchewan Museum,” she says. “It is a place that I have fond memories of, first as a child who loved the wonderment of the life-like exhibits, and later, as a parent of my own child who loved our visits to the museum.” She encourages others to support the FRSM, both financially and as members. “Becoming an FRSM donor or member means that you are supporting RSM research and special initiatives,” explains Donna. “The RSM employs some of the best and brightest scientists who are experts in their field and I love telling people about them and their accomplishments!”
