Frieze Fridays

Are you looking for a break? Bring a bag lunch and stroll down to the RSM for a bite-size bit of fun programming, focusing on the wildlife found on the frieze (sculpture) around the exterior of the RSM. Join a RSM Interpreter to hear more about the wild and quirky creatures of Saskatchewan featured on this amazing sculpture. This is an outdoor drop-in session from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm. There are picnic tables near the RSM that can be used for eating (food is not allowed in the museum galleries!).

We’re getting loony!

At the end of the week we start dreaming of being at the lake--can you hear the loon’s call? This Friday why not head down to the Royal Saskatchewan Museum for a little lunch time break? We’ll be outside the museum under the frieze (or inside the lobby in poor weather) from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm sharing about a very Canadian summer iconic bird: the common loon! Bring your lunch and join us; there are lovely picnic tables nearby.
