With your $150 adoption you will receive:

  • Certificate of Adoption and a photo of your artifact
  • Accompanying description of your artifact and its history or significance to Saskatchewan
  • Your name on the Museum’s website and in the Friends of the Museum Annual Report
  • Charitable tax receipt for $150

Don’t miss your chance to support the Royal Saskatchewan Museum’s new exhibit 150 for 150. Adopt one of the 150 species featured in the exhibit and show your love for all things Saskatchewan!


  1. Click on the “Purchase” button to begin the adoption process.
  2. Choose an artifact category that interests you.
  3. We will follow-up with you in 2 to 3 business days to select a specific artifact from the exhibit.
  4. You will receive your Certificate of Adoption and accompanying materials in the mail.
  5. Congratulations! You’re the proud parent of a piece of history.


  1. Adoptions are for the term of the temporary exhibit only.
  2. Adoptions are symbolic and non-exclusive.
  3. We welcome adoptions as gifts, in memoriam or for any special occasion. We are happy to send the adoption certificate directly to the recipient. In accordance with CRA regulations, the charitable tax receipt will be sent to the purchaser.
  4. Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for the mailing and processing of the adoption certificate and accompanying materials.

Adopt an Artifact is brought to you by the Friends of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, a non-profit organization and registered charity.  Adopt an Artifact offers a unique way for you to support the new exhibit, become involved with the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, and help provide the financial funding needed to continue our mission to promote the understanding of Saskatchewan’s natural history.
